Cal Fulenwider is a third generation Denver native and is President of L. C. Fulenwider, Inc., a company started by his grandfather in 1904. In addition to founding L.C. Fulenwider, Inc., Fulenwider’s grandfather helped create the Colorado Real Estate Commission in the early 1900’s, and L.C. Fulenwider still holds Colorado Real Estate License #1. Fulenwider has had a key role in the strategic planning, development and management of 7,500 acres surrounding Denver International Airport.
Fulenwider developed Denver International Business Center, a 450 acre mixed use development at the front door of DIA and Reunion, a 3,240-acre Master Planned Community being developed by Shea Homes on ground owned by L.C. Fulenwider. DIA and the City of Denver have recently awarded L.C. Fulenwider the right to develop the first “aviation station” along the Fast Tracks East Rail Line on ground owned by DIA and Fulenwider. Fulenwider is a founding member of the C.U. Real Estate Council and the DIA Business Partnership, now Metro Denver Aviation Council, an affiliate of the Metro Denver Economic Development Council. Fulenwider is a former member of the Children’s Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.
